<div class="IPBDescription">...specifically, 2.01 is different.</div> In performing some tests with the Oni clipping-hull, I've discovered that the currently-published 'hull file' is incorrect.
Specifically, when using any 'width' less than 70 for Onos, the onos can be collided with, but cannot collide with, brush entities. That probably sounds like a contradiction, so I will explain further:
A func_door will be able to impact the onos, but an <i><b>identical</b></i> func_presence will NOT detect the onos as touching it.
Using the following hull file instead solves these problems with the new movement code in 2.01, though I'm unsure if the problem is also present in 2.00 currently. I haven't bothered testing. :-)
And as a note, YES, this is tested using the new 2.01 server-side release, running a dedicated server I locally connected to on my home machine. (Ah... the wonders of dual-CPU rigs.)
