that said, fav parts, people who have seen the movie?

i was almost convulsing with happiness when i first saw o-ren in animevision when she was on the roof, with the psg1... ohhh sweet jesus..

when bill shot uma, what, 5-10 mins into the movie, i leaned over to my friend and said, "this is already the coolest movie i have ever seen." he said, "yes."

and when the doors opened into the courtyard/garden, night-dark, snowing, fountain trickling and making that noise, and then o-ren comes out.. in that kimono robe thingy... i almost died.

Amen on the detail of Bill capping The Bride, the firing pin hitting the round, and the rest of that sequence is sick. The opening credits theme "Bang Bang" very touching.

When The Bride is allowed to see the Swordsmith's collection, the extra attention Terentino paid to the reverence that people are supposed to have for those weapons was super sweet. (and the whole swordsmith sequence in general)

When blood rains down on O-rens face when her mother is killed, that song..... wow that whole scene was sick (I’m an Anime fan)
The PSG1(damn you California for making good rifles illegal) scene of course.

And the little humming noise The Brides blade makes (I love when energy is portrayed in swords)

When The Bride Leans backwards in the Blue Lotus to stab the masked man behind her (her back is arched) soo damn good.

When O-ren apologizes for ridiculing the bride and the bride accepts. (OMG!)

Damn it... I think the whole movie is my favorite scene

did anyone else *know* she was gonna pick the sword w/ the red fringes to try out? =P I didn't expect the whole SPESHUL sword forging part tho...

was that anime sequence done by a japanese person/studio? it felt to me like it was American made, done in an anime fashion...

It was japanese. Quentin might be a violent man, but he still knows how to pay his respects.

The entire Hattori Hanzo (the blacksmith) scene was cool, especially the 30+ Katana's pre-forged.

When Hattori-San gave The Bride her sword, it was very well done in the ritualistic samurai fashion.

Gotta love Go-Go's flying mace though. And the Spanked Kid. that was just cool.

The entire O-Ren and Bride fight scene

I frigging loved the scene where O-Ren and her posse are going into the Blue Leaves. The music fit so well and it all just looked so awesome.

Definitely the sequence with the bullet exiting the barrel and all, much coolness.

i knew that those were the display models.

i was thinkin: where's the secret stash?

and then he says he's gotta MAKE it for a month (or however long), i was thinkin "oh. that's cool. custom-made to defeat carradine's own. like harry potter and voldemort's wands, only much cooler."

For some disturbed reason I liked the scene where she killed Vernita Green (Vivica A. Fox). Mostly because unlike other movies she kept her anti-hero mindset firmly planted and killed her.

She even broke her promise not to kill her infront of her daughter. In alot of movies the director builds up to a point like that and then all of a sudden this person whos out for vengance become a softy and decides not to go through with it or something.

Finally, an anti-hero who dosent suddenly have spurts of valor and truth and justice and all that crap. Shes just downright evil. Woot!
