<div class="IPBDescription">repetitive..</div> we all know as any melee alien goes to attack a marine, he will jump to the right/left and start circling, its annoying and yet hard to counter as a skulk and fade, by the time you can turn and face the marine, your a dead skulk. its even more irritating when and newbie can pick up a weapon and own entire alien teams with it. Has anyone noticed this?

jump at marine > he moves > he cricles > dead
jump at marine > he circles > you jump back > dead

for a combat system such as melee vs ranged this doesnt seam right.

    Its just one of those things you gotta learn to deal with.

    A lot of times if you can jump along with them, you can still get them right in the chest before they land.

    Also, a lot of times all they have to do is jump and your speed keeps you going right under and past them. So another good way to fight that is to just stop in place, and bite as they land on you. I know it may sound farfetched, but it works and I've gotten many hoppers like that.

    "Own entire alien teams with it", eh? Somehow, I doubt it very much. All you have to do is anticipate where the marine's going.

    Try this, set your mouse sense higher than it is, when u jump and he moves, turn to face him, your bites will connect, OR time it so u land before the marine, as you are more mobile on the ground

    Heres another solution, choose your battles carefully. being a skulk means exactly that, u skulk around marines and attack when the times right in confined corridors, not long open areas. You have speed and manouverability as well as wall climb, use these to ur advantage to draw fire away from you or your team so they wadte bullets. If i as a skulk can take on 2 HA marines with hmg's and win, i think u can take on a noob marine with lmg, bunny hopping puts them at a disadvantage

    Instead of following the marines around in a large loop try cutting straight sideways and meeting them when they come back around.

    Seems to do wonders for me.
