Kahled's released the latest version of mIRC: 6.12. This version fixes the DCC exploit which would cause people's mIRC clients to crash from malform sends.

I really wish that when you click on a link in mIRC it would open with your default browser (firebird) and not IE6

Gee, I haven't updated my mIRC yet, but people keep trying to crash me through DCC's and it doesn't seem to work.

You should also note that the exploit only takes place within version of mIRC ranging from 6.00 to 6.11. Anything below 6 is free from the exploit.
