Can't Connect To My Server.

I have been running Half-Life servers of all makes and mods for the past year or more. I always run a dedicated server and play from the same machine. All of a sudden, I can't seem to connect to my NS server.

I've got the port set up correctly. I run a ton of metamod plugins so I tried disabling them all and that didn't help.

I get the connection console. I get all the server connection messages in the console. I get as far as the map text message "processing nothing.txt" and then nothing (oddly enough) happens, I just sit there and wait with my tongue stuck to my monitor...

I am running NS 2.01 and I am playing the client dll on my client, and the server dll on my server. I've successfully been doing this ever since 2.01 came out, and before that with the public betas. I've tried changing a bunch of stuff in my server config...

I'm stumped, does anyone have any ideas?

P.S.: If someone has already posted about this sort of thing, I'm afraid I haven't been able to find it, the search function on this board isn't working for me either...

I run an identical server/client and it's certainly easier (AND quicker) to backup your configs and do a COMPLETE uninstall/fresh install.

I guess what I am finding odd is that I am not having this problem with all the other mods I run on my box (DOD, FA, TFC, BG). But with Steam, I guess you never know...

Ya I wasn't quite sure whether it was a server or a client issue. I haven't had a chance to run a test to see if other players can connect to my server. I guess I'll have to do that.

Thanks for the suggestion Kwik.
