Half-life Launcher Has Encountered A Problem...

Hello all,
I looked through all the posts and can't seem to find an answer for this.
When I change maps in NS, I get this error almost everytime. After I get the error I am kicked to the desktop. After I get to the desktop I am forced to reboot as my colors are all messed up.
Here is what I am running:
PC-60 Silver Lian Li Case
AMD Athlon XP 1800+
Thermaltake Volcano 7+ HSF
ASUS A7V333
Enermax EG465P-VE 431 Watt PSU
512 MB Crucial DDR
80GB Maxtor 6L080L4 ATA 133
SoundBlaster Audigy Gamer
Windows XP Professional
Logitec Dual Optical Mouse
Leadtek WinFast A250 TD GeForce4 TI 4400

nah, probably a steam glitch
does ns work with hl 1.1.1.0? (WON system)
if it does then it's probably a steam glitch
erm ... those look like my settings so if i were you i'd keep trying and hope for an update
sorry if i'm useless...
ps. this was a problem in the steam beta, repeatedly trying appeared to fix the error ... seriously, it looks like steam actually looks at its own error logs
Currently there doesn't seem to be a perfect fix, but some suggestions have been made, which might help you
