Custom/fun Maps

I'm looking for a few suggestions on some good fun and custom maps for a server I'm looking to devote to custom/fun maps...

Any suggestions would be great - I'm looking to get around 10-15 maps 50% fun / 50% custom...

    ns_siege 007 is a good map

    + i did a few fun maps in the past if u put them on the server lemme know an i'll come play
    ns_2fortsb8 -fun
    ns_lockdown_b3 -custom - joint project between me and rellix
    ns_warzone_b4 - fun </edit> - oops changed now
    ns_spacetrap_b2 - fun

    also i have the first beta of a map i'm working on ie the layout is done unless there are any big gameplay problems and i just need to get it tested b4 i release it.

    Just tested ns_2fortsb8 but it crashing the server.

    A good map would be marines vs marines storming an outpost in the distant future. Wow. That sounds cool.

    sory oops fixed it now

    bount the finish 1 b4 i start another pt u mite notice all but 1 are fun maps
    they were my way of learning how to map and lockdown has reached several compiler limits and rellix has other things to do at teh mo so its prolly done with now.

    dont expect many fun maps to look like the official ones take a look at any fun map an u'll c its a way for a new mapper to make smaller scale works to get some skill b4 starting anything big.

    - <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo--> ive played it b4 on sever servers and it was fine - in what way does it crash the server ? have u considered that fun maps allow heavy turret spam which will crash any server and a turret limit plugin is a good plan for a funmap server ive even seen official maps crash due to turret spam but due to there being less res on the map its harder to do.

    had like 4 turrets on top of cc thing, 4 around it, 3 at each entrance and like 3 sieges. but it was me who crashed the server. and i was comm (Getting overflowed).

    Last action i did was very fast moving around the map.

    lach, what happed to all the ones u used to run on ausns custom?

    any ways, get the old mapcycle.txt file back, and download the 2.x hull file versions of them, then add ns_blow to the end (click sig)

    ns_blow is the worst map i ever seen:

    - marines have 20 rt.
    - due to the 20 rt, u can build, arms, obs, proto, armory, some ip, and some turrets but then u get 'to many structures nearby'
    - aliens cant build all rt, to close to each other
    - hives easy to siege
    - aliens never can win this map, or marines must be realy stupid. Marines got unlimeted res, siege thing opens to early, and even if u kill all marine rt, they have like 5000 res left. so enaugh to survive for a couple of hours.
    - map only work 1 round. after the first round the door wont open.

    well, in that case blow is a bad map, at least i did play test it with bots in 1.x, and 2.0, but it looks like there are still problems with it
