<div class="IPBDescription">The Games Scoring System</div> Yeah, I am am of coarse new to this mod of HL. I was wondering if there is a way to change the scoring system. Example Instead of after you kill all members of the other team to end the game,, havea time limit..?

With Natural selection, the aim is to get rid of the enemy, either by destroying the hives or the infantry portals and command chair. With NS: Combat, the aim is to get as many kills as possible in the time limit so you can gain experience. The teams win by either killing all of the opposition at once or destroying the hive / command chair.

If you change the system, it just wont be NS

I am just curious but what would determine winning at the end of the time limit? Kills?

Oh and I agree with Bogglesteinsky, NS is unique because of the way you play...

I dont believe there is a time limit. Aliens hive has to die, or all the marines have to be forced into the spawn cue.

On tournament mode, there is a time limit. at the end, the winner is determined by score - the number of kills and the amount of res collected. there is also no countdown for the aliens in tourny mode (once the hive is destroyed i mean)
