    Now, as I am a non-1337 programmer, are there any POP 3 clients that have this sory of fuction built in, or will I have to learn C++ to do such a thing?

    I think just filtering out things with "unsucscribe" could remove a lot of spam, as long as you don't actually subscribe to any genuine newsletters.
