Polishing those pennies!
Well I was recently polishing my Mercury Dime colection when I realized something. I don't know what to use to polish pennies! I use a silver polishing kit to do the regular coins, but what can I use on pennies? And no acids like viniger please.

I heard if you leave a penny in Coke over-night, it cleans it.

Just FYI, Polishing\Cleaning the coins in any way makes them completely and 100% worthless as collector's items. Worth nothing except face value. I.E., your mercury dimes are now worth 10 cents each.

Urban legends propagated by "fun science things to do at home" textbooks?
