    That is highly disturbing.... you really overdid it, also his jaw is moving straight up and down when there should be a hinge effect instead.

    It isn't moving up/down, it's rotating. Look at it from a side then look at yourself in a mirror, from teh side making chewing motions. Looks identical ^^. Scissors? It is moving like a real humans jaw, lower teeth behind upper teeth. And I don't understand "overdid". Please be more precisely... [I want to improve it]. Ah, and it won't open that wide ingame, it's just for demo issues...

    The bone that your mouth-movement attachment is on is too low and forward. This -might- be fixed by moving the entire head model so that the bone is [when looking straight from the side] where the jaw bone joint should be. You may also have to figure out how to reposition the attachment if that's not good enough [it will probably make the head look squished down, but maybe not].

    An other way to improve it is to show less of the teeth by moving them further back in the skull, putting more space between the top and bottom teeth [just move the bottom ones a bit more back] and rotating the teeth [from the side] so they're not perfectly horizontal. Especially the bottom teeth. They need to have the back slanted a little more up so it looks better when the mouth's extended.

    When you're talking regularly, you don't normally show so much of your teeth, unless you're laughing.

    The vertexes on the edge of the jaw, a bit behind the cheeks, should also move. This will help have a more natural stretch to the face's flesh.

    Hm, thx for input. But I think you have to see it ingame how it looks when someone is talking, which looks very good IMHO. So, may I send this model to someone so he can give an opinion out of ingame experience? If you want, pm me your email address, I'll send it ASAP.

    Why would anyone want to see his mouth move when hes wearing an infrared loaded gas mask?...
    Those Jin-Roh soldiers shoot first then ask questions later <!--emo&::asrifle::--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/asrifle.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='asrifle.gif'><!--endemo-->
