Hmm.. I had a go at it too, and after looking around the different files I started with the tray icons. Here's what I got so far :

u CAN download a "EASY icon maker" . this software can EDIT a ICON on the tray .....

Agreed. I kinda jury rigged a semi working version, somewhat. Though I don't think it would really stick, every time Steam has an update they seem to fubar the Steam skin or ingame browser somehow.

Well, believe it or not, but it took quite some time to make that skin. Guess it won't take that long next time, since I used alot of time trying to figure out how to make one <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Maybe I'll make a Kharaa skin later.
