<div class="IPBDescription">Double the damage.</div> Activate Xenocide, then Leap at building/soldier.
Put Xenocide and Leap on quickswitch. Activate Xenocide, switch to Leap, and then aim and leap. Armory is good target when marines are armory humping. If you connect leap with HA before exploding you'll do that much more damage. I've taken down hurt HAs this way.

also, how does xeno + leap = double dmg....
I meant you do damage twice. Activate xeno, do damge with leap(maybe with bites, I have to try that, DroopyDaDog), and then explode. It takes a little practice, but it's actually queit easy. Give it a few tries.
Its better to be in the middle of the patch of HA's when you xenocide (By leap) then by trying to run to them, getting shot, and not xenociding at all. Double the damage is just a phase, like an "All you can eat" restuarent to an *extreamly* fat person.
You'll do much more damage exploding just above building level than right next to a marine. The explosion is line-of-sight, so anything hiding behind a structure will not take damage (but, due to a bug I'm not sure is fixed, sometimes you will still get thrown). Therefore, explode above the building line so nobody can hide, but not so far above it as to reduce your damage due to range.
I have tested this myself, And I'm pretty sure it is not 40 dmg/sec. IMO leap should just "do" 40 damage to the marine rather than this stupid "keep touching" thing.
As said, the best way to use xeno is to get as close as possible to as many marines as possible, and then xeno.
Anyway, I dont think xenocide is much about destroying a single target as blowing up in the midst of a Train or Farm...
Leaping takes attention away from making sure youre xeno is well aimed...

From the changelog: O Removed frame-rate dependence from leap and charge damage (Leap is 40 damage per second, Charge is 160 damage per second.)
It was never 16 damage per second, but 16 damage per frame (which is potentially way way more).
Leap isn't needed as a damage dealer, so making it a single-hit thing would not really matter. It's more about covering a distance. Bite is more practical for actually dishing out the pain.
Charge, on the other hand, is still not particularly useful, and is definately not on par with many other 3rd hive abilities. There are other threads on this topic in S&I, and I'll leave the discussion to them.
