It's darn good, considering that the trailer is the only thing that you'll ever see, it cost $85 to make, and was done as a school project. http://www.planet-megaman.com/mmmovie/

R00fles, although it took me till halfway through the thing to get that the first doctor that appeared was actually Wiley. He should had a wig or something to give him the long hair. Otherwise, that was r00flicious :D

Also cool how the guy's name was Rock. :P

I can't help but wonder what they spent the $85 on, other than maybe food for the staff.

Though the MRI scanner was good CG (I actually want to grab that for a project I'm working on), it's a shame their compositing guy didn't know how to lock a field while panning, ending up with the overlayed people jiggling around. :b

When does that hit the movie screens?

^Never, hopefully.^

It was pretty cheap, but fun for what they had to work with.

Actually there are rumours of a proper live-action film floating around....

I could've SWORN I've seen something like this before (a live-action Rockman something or other)...

That wasn't quite as horrible as I thought it would be.

please god, let them be truer to source than this...

I'll conceed that it was a school project... maybe college. And quite good for that, but still... ...

I would assume this was made by a fan or 6 of the series, but so many errors...

(1) Proto isn't either a Wily or Light bot, he's both. (And he doesn't work for Wily, that's actually Darkman)
(2) The above goes for all the original 6 Robot masters, they were all constructed at the same time, as a tandem effort of Light and Wily. Wily stole them all, and reprogrammed them.
(3) Proto, Rock, & Roll are all robots from the ground up, not some messed up cyborgs... Infact, it's up for debate as to wether or not they were really able to have fully free will. Proto pretty much did, but this was due to a glitch in his programming that caused him to be sort of a random person.

Really, they'd probably have a better time making an MMX movie, as reploids have free will and emotions, due to another one of Ligth's inventions, and the reason X had to be locked up for 30 years of testing...

We are students in college in Detroit. This trailer was done in less than 3 weeks, for a school video project. Budget was roughly $85 to make the costumes. It was just intended to have fun with the Mega Man world. And yes, the plot is different from the games, and yes, it may be corny (*cough*anybody played the games?!*). Obviously we aren't endowed with Hollywood Budgets and time. But we hope you enjoy it just for the sake of what it is.

student 1: "hey, we've got enough money to make some funny costumes and access to stuff to do computer effects (badly)"
student 2: "cool! lets make something based on a popular franchise but completely ignore the background story plus a lot of other things that really define it as being the cool thing that it is!!!"
student 1: "I dunno man... shouldn't we just try and make something original instead?"
student 2: "nah, think about how many people would watch it! heck, hollywood does it so why shouldn't we?"
student 1: "yeah, I guess..."
