Neither the SMG or pistol were an after-thought. They were, all three elements, part of the original design document that started the whole wonderful [to me, anyway] story.
I can only hope that my appreciation for the Belgian weapons can inspire someone else to equal respect.
Now I only wish Stargate SG1 would show more of them in much greater detail so I can relish the experience even more... <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> [the gun--not so much the show]
What Del had to do back there was just a damned shame and I'm sorry anyone at all had to suffer through that.
