can some1 help me with the minimap, i type in buildminimap when in game and it lags for a sec then a little white bar appears at the bottom (like the evolving bar) and thats it nothing else happens?

i looked in the minimap folder and its not there, how long does it actually take to create the minimap?

my map is quiet small btw

First, make sure you have sv_cheats set to 1 (you probably did that if the white bar showed up). Also check to see that your info_mapinfo has the correct settings.

The overview takes a while to make. It's highly cpu intensive, so running around in your map might make it take a bit longer. The progress is shown in the white box, with blue bars showing up to show how far along the process is.

yeah sv_cheats is on 1, so it does take a while spose i do have a crappy pc, and i did knida run around ill just leave it running

You should be able to know when the blue bar finishes itself,and poof you have a minimap

Even more nifty is that the minimap also appears ingame once it's done <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

I made a minimap for my map but its not showing up in the overview folder. Id like to distribute the map with the overview!

The minimap is placed in the sprites\minimaps folder. It is named [yourmapname].spr.
