Not Enough Space To Run Games!?

<div class="IPBDescription">What?</div> Ok, I just recently formatted my POS computer, actually, a couple of hours ago. Now I'm running WinXP Pro with all my HD space back!!! I'm totally happy, I just installed Vice City. Not Half-Life yet, because I dread updating it and downloading all my Mod's again. I also want to try Vice City because of MTA, which wasn't supported on WinME which I ran before. When I run Vice City I get the little CD Busy Cursor, and then nothing... no error nothing. Anyway to fix this?

My patent pending 3 step process for errors like that:

    1. Reboot. I'm guessing you've already tried this one.
    2. Try running the game a different way (Start menu instead of desktop shortcut, manually exploring the directory, etc.)
    3. Reinstall, in a different directory.

If the problem persists, hit things. Or try something productive like troubleshooting.
