I Need Help Gettin Ns To Steam

for some reason w/e i try to convert ns to steam...it alwasy crashes and then i have reinstall cs and then reinstall the ns patch....and that is very time consuming but if anyone would be willing to help me convert my ns to steam..thatd be great kkthx <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

First off, follow this guide while installing steam:

If that doesn't work, or if you already have steam installed with the old installer and it didn't pick up NS, just go into your sierra/half life folder, copy the ns folder into the program files/steam/steamapps/halflife folder. Do this AFTER A CLEAN INSTALL OF STEAM with the newest version of the steaminstall_cs.exe installer.

I couldn't get ns working with the _full installer or the plain one, but the cs one works fine. If that doesn't help, post back with details about what happens with your steam after you've done whats outlined in this post.
