<div class="IPBDescription">AAAAAH!!!</div> Fed up of this now. I've never had any console problems before now, but for some annoying reason i cant get the console to work. Yes, I am pressing `. Yes, i have -console on the target thingy for NS. The only other thing I can think of is I've like lost the bind for console or something - and I cant find it in the configuration/controls.

i dunno if this will help but go to the console from the main menu and try this:

/bind <ANYKEY> drawconsole

or sumthin like that i think its drawconsole but im not sure
and DONT start asking me where the <ANYKEY> is <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

Thx - found out that its "toggleconsole" though. Unfortunately, the ` key doesnt work in console, so I'm using a different key. Any ideas how to attach it to `? Do I have to edit the config file or something (not gonna try, dont wanna mess something up lol...).

Just edit the config file, you'll soon find it really handy, as well as the autoexec.

bind "`" "toggleconsole"
bind "?" "toggleconsole"

Just copypaste those into the config. If that doesn't work, then I dunno :/

I think that's the ~ key on a farked up keyboard.

If it's any help you can get it by typing "Alt+0167" (ie, holding down the Alt key and typing 0167 on the number pad.)

AFAIK this should work on all keyboards, cos it's the Ascii standard.

And about the ? key, on my Finnish keyboard the key that opens the console (the one next to 1) has a ? on it (and a ?, but that's irrelevant), so I thought I might suggest binding that as well, even if the official key is `.
