<div class="IPBDescription">Damn You XP And Your Many Options!</div> Can anyone tell me how the hell to remove the double arrow thingy
which keeps appearing at the bottom of my "Programs" menu?
In the attached pic, look right at the bottom of the menu where my mouse
arrow is and the bar is highlighted. I want to disable/remove that so I
can see anything properly.
Bit of a weird request but I'm very fussy when it comes to things like this. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
EDIT: You can't see my mouse arrow but you can see the blue bar where it's
been hoovering.

Alright,
Right click on your start button and go to "Properties"
Click on the Advanced tab.
In the Start Menu Items box scroll down to the "Scroll Programs" check box.
Uncheck said check box.
Hit OK.
You should be set!
1. Right click the taskbar and choose properties.
2a. If XP, click 'start menu', then click 'classic start menu', then click 'customize'. Then scroll down and uncheck 'use personalized menus'.
2b. If 2000, simply uncheck 'use personalized menus'.

Did you try deleting the c:\windows\recent (its hidden, and its probably in different location on NT based Windows) folder? Not sure if that would rok, but it might.
Thanks for the help everyone.
