It looks pretty and atmospheric and the multiplayer looks pretty cool too, though I've never bothered playing. Lots of my friends were really into it for a month or two but they don't play it anymore so I can't say if it's good or not =3

Id recomend it, it lets the classic boss style come back to life and does the original good.

Grpahics - Cool
Gameplay - Smooth
Story - Indian Jones Meets James Bond
Multiplayer - Wiping Out Quake 3.

Its ok, but its nothing compared to SP MoH, or even just the DEMO of CoD. But fun

CoD needs a surgeon general's warning, it is highly addictive!

RTCW is great, but there's one thing I don't just get. The world textures are great, geometry is solid and interesting, character models are well done and highly detailed (polygon and texture wise), yet most of the weapon models are atrocious! Sub-Quake 2 standard! I have no idea how the quality of work can slip so much considering the visual calibre of the rest of the game...

Aside from that issue, good game

I liked it!

I JUST finished it last night. The ending was disappointing in its shortness, but I enjoyed the game. ^-^

Keep in mind that id didn't make RTCW, just produced it (similar to how 3DRealms only produced Max Payne), the game was made primarily by the guys who did Kingpin, which in my mind makes up quite well for how horrible Kingpin was, becauce RTCW just plain rocks. Is it some revolutionary game? No, of course not. But its damned fun and very true to the spirit of the original.

Brings back memories, I used to play that when I was 3/4 years old..... only line i could ever remeber "Hutstore", and those shifty eyes, those should be in games now.

YEah - I sure loved RTCW. It was quite the fun game. And I must say that I think I might have had MORE fun with it than the St. Eglise CoD demo. Call me crazy, but I only played through it once and then uninstalled it.

As a matter of fact, I think I'll only buy Call of Duty if the multiplayer is good. it WILL have multiplayer, won't it?

Otherwise, I'll stick to my Gunbound

I loved the multiplayer test to pieces, the singleplayer of the full game was ok, but I thought the majority of the full game multiplayer maps were bloody awful. The beach map, and the RtCW game, was some of the best online gaming I've ever had

Actually, I downloaded Wolf ET a few days ago, and after intensive playing of it I have to say:
1: I miss the Venom gun
and
2: It's very disconcerting to get your arse kicked in something you're supposedly an expert in. I refer to covert ops. I played Spy in TFC for something like three years, and I played enough original RtCW to get very good at combat in general. Yet, for some reason, I'm back to being an absolute newbie in ET and I don't know if I have the patience to get over that stage.

I guess I always have to do things the hard way. Of course it's easiest to go medic, use the wonderfully forgiving and effective thompson\mp40 and be able to heal yourself. But no, I just HAVE to use a SMG that overheats...
