ok I THINK sieging doubleres from Marine spawn is FAIR and most times not worth building a tf and obs there just to siege it, if you can build a tf at thoose rooms left or right, wich is a way better outpost, and you dont need that much scanner sweeps when marines go in at the same time.
A bigger pronlem is that this siege range gives marines the ability to controll ALL but 3 RESNODES with that siege, Sub-5-hive and a big outpost on the right side.
as i know KFS did not intend doubleres to be siegeable from marine spawn.
KFS probably didn't intend it, but I like it.
Yeah, marines can weld them shut, but there's an answer for that too.
unless your against dumb aliens, they can easily bile bomb, like civ said...
im not sure if it was intended or what, but letting the marines have 3 highly-secure res nodes just isn't a good idea; for ballances' sake.

Course you have to consider that you can just take every other RT but those, and as long as the rines dont have them either, then its all good.
