From a new connection between the ramp down from marine spawn and the maintenance hive. That will all have meaning to you non-playtesters eventually. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    Mighty nice there KFS, can't wait to see it ingame.

    Blah blah, usual "You're so amazing" rant.

    Are those blue zappy things animated? What part of Eclipse is this?

    Amazing arcs of electricity.  Not to mention the general architecture, but that's been fantastic for a while now.  I don't know if I've mentioned this before but I love the kind of 'standby-mode' lighting you've got going on.  It makes it seem to me like the map is set during an eternal pre-dawn, before the crew would usually arrive to start working and milling around the station.

    Anyway, enough ranting.  Great shots.  Oh, and can't forget the ubiquitous 'Can't wait to play it!' <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->.

    Nice, I was wondering though what makes the electric? And what part of the map this is?

    Actually, there's a fun entity - func_beam or something like that - that can create that kind of effect.  Nice stuff, KFS.  (:

    I meant, what is making the electric in the lvl, like a generator or something. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    looks nice, seems like it's really hard to wallclimb in that area, but i guess it's close to the marine spawn

    Actually, it's not too far from a hive and it's quite easy to wall-climb. <!--emo&;)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'><!--endemo-->

    coil: env_beam. func is for neat effects that do something useful. env is for neat effects that are just purty. Except env_light, but that's a different story.

    Actually, it's a pair of func_conveyors. Kudos go to Merk for the texture and giving me the idea in the first place. <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo--> Expect to see the Triad revisited with this in place of the blue pulse if the polys allow.

    The textures on your support beams look very cartoony.

    Yes, we need some photorealistic textures of the inside of a futuristic spaceship. Perhaps you would like to take your digital camera and get us a few Pinky?

    <Checkov accent> Where are the nuclear wessels? <Checkov>

    lol

    Looks great, that lightning is amazing...

    Although, open electricity really doesn't look that realistic in conjuntion with the openness of the area around it... for some reason I don't think I would like to be anywhere near that if it's kicking off as much voltage as it looks...

    Maybe a Glass door or something? But hey, what do I know, nice map!

    Congrats.  That was the most stupid and arrogant post I have ever seen in these forums.
    The textures have a very odd border on them, and they are too clean.  Perhaps make them smaller, or square.
    To me, they look like they just came out of BuzzyBots

    Easy there killer...

    We all like to joke, and the basic jist of his post was, if you want it done, do it yourself...

    So... yeah <!--emo&:)--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'><!--endemo-->

    well, i can see both sides to this issue, but i will just say that i think that if Pinky wants to give some constructive criticism then i think he should, without ridicule.

    thats looking good KFS, nothing glaringly obvious i can see wrong with them.
