    If HL2 carries the delay baton as cs:cz, HL2 will actually come out in the winter of 2006.

Seen Tainted Donuts, the Tirgun-Cowboy Bebop crossover? That's priceless.

    Anyways, no real surprises here. I am dissapointed but I wasn't expecting it to come out on Sep 30th anyway.

    Although it does bear mentioning that HL2 might still ship on Steam on Sept 30th, although I for one view that as an extreamly unlikely scenario.

    Wewt! More time to play NS and now Halo PC will not be completely Slaughtered ^^
    Lighten up guys, hl2 may end up being the best game ever and may include free scorpian models in the collectors edition or somthing but I would rather wait a bit longer and get a working game than to get it earlier and have so many bugs it won't be funny.

    To be honest, i'm really looking forward to HL2, but hell, most games i've ever looked forward to have been delayed, it's no biggie, as long as they don't do a Duke Nukem Forever and it actually is released, who are we to complain?

    And what's with all the VALVe bashing, i'd <b>love</b> to see all you anti-VALVe people make a game of groundbreaking quality that HL2 will be, completely smooth and also to an exact release deadline. These people are professionals, trust them. And ontop of making that game, release a complete reworking of Half-Life's authentication code, a new application, support for that new application, manage masses of servers for aformentioned application, code updates for aformentioned program, release patches for a 5 year old game, work on tracking down h4x and coding anti-cheat technology, putup with baseless, mindless, uninformed and immature flamers and all the while responding to emails from fans.... Oh, sorry, don't you think you can do that?

    Just remember, good things are always worth waiting for, and HL2 will be worth it, be patient and if you don't have anything nice to say, i suggest you type a nice long email about how much you hate VALVe, send it to Gabe Newell and promptly watch yourself get blocked.

    I plan do double everything and get a radeonXXXX. I'lll decide whats best for me if and when the money is available.

    Delayed a week before it's release, typical stupid publisher idiocy. It's not the delay that pisses me off, it's the timing and the **** they fed us for months on end about it definitely coming out on September 30th. Bleh, they suck.
