Layout needing some advice

I was woundering if a layout like this would work.  The wide halls are 256 units and the skinny halls are 128 units.  I did the floor layout with Hammer so I know it fits. At the moment I'm not showing the Alien only paths. Not sure were to put them just yet.

    Looks good, it's very big, though.  I would remove some of the passages between the hives so that it is harder to get between them.  At the moment they seem too close together.

    How about having the marine spawn on the far right (where the nozzle is) and putting a hive on the far left. Then putting hives on top and bottom. The 3 hives look too close to each other...

    This looks too complicated to me, far too many hallways, players will get lost.

    The hives look too close together, you should have the same travelling time between hives as there is to the marine start.  

    I would advise putting resource nodes closer to the hives and marine start.

    I bet you would have a real problem making all those areas look like they have a meaningful function.  I advise you to go for a few 'feature' rooms, that have an obvious function and link them with short sections of hallway.  This will make your map easier to learn and play.

    its far too big and there are a lot of unused areas i suggest u to move the marine spawn, move some hives and cut a lot of hallways......

    i agree...nice design but the 3 hives  r 2 close
