    How good is the grenade? Can it kill unupgraded Skulks/Lerks at full health?

    I havent really seen anyone kill anyone with the hand grenade yet. Currently, it takes a few seconds to throw the grenade after firing.

    Ok...

    Another Q, can you prime it? Like hold it for two seconds and have it explode two seconds after you let it go? Or will it take 4 seconds to detonate regardless of when you throw it?

    a quick calculation reveals that it requires 2 unupgraded marines to both empty a lmg and pistol clip into an unupgraded onos.     Last night I had a dream that I was IN/playing Ns combat. I was the Kharra and I evolved into a Lerk. I enjoyed the new flying techniques on the Lerk too <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->. The games felt way to short though. Like we just destroyed two Marine buildings and the game ended.

    Don't forget that each point of armor absorbs 2 points of damage, so the Onos can withstand a total of 1900 points. That's 3 LMG and 2 pistol clips, assuming no upgrades and no misses.

    I have two hand grenade kills right now, I think. They aren't useless, just very hard to make use of. They are better designed for NS standard, in my opinion.

    Would it be possible to introduce a noise like a beep when you're priming so you don't count too fast, (Or too slow :x)? Or perhaps have your rine click his thumb nail against the grenade every second to keep rythm, (But you wouldn't see it since it's off the screen), or click his fingers with his free hand, (which you would see)?

    I'd just treat that as a great time to rush out and attack. Even if he has a freind covering him, there's still a chance that the marine will be startled and miss the vent, blowing himself up, (and his teammates if ff is on <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ).
    I was going to suggest them counting first, but then I realised they'd have that dull tone they allways have when they speak: "One... Two... *yawn* ... What number was I o-*BOOOOM*" Besides, you could alternate between the two noises at random, the clicking fingers one being the equivalent of when you've drawn the knife and it plays the 'balance knife on palm of hand and have fall off' animation, (ie: doesn't happen too often to get boring, but pretty neat when it does).

    Nice shots guys but my favourite is still Norn's awesome one with the muzzle flash and the skulk flying at the rines face.

    Is the explosion still the same as normal nade explosion??

    If only the nade made the same sound as the AvP nade that was just fricken awesome.

    If u die while holding a nade in mid throw but havent released does it blow up on your corpse killing nearby aliens?? Some cool suicide rine runs are nice.

    Oh yeh and one last request i want the nade pin to be pulled out with my teeth!! j/k
