Top 5 movies i've watched on dvd this week
These movies are in no particular order, just they happen to be the 5 movies I enjoyed watching this week on DVD.
1. Dogtown and Z Boys.
Great documentary on the rise of progressive skateboarding in the 70's.
2. The End
Another skateboarding video. This one features Tony Hawk and several of the other skaters sponsored by Hawk's Birdhouse company.
3. Bound
Gina Gershon and Jennifer Tilly. 'Nuff said.
4. UFC Hits vol 1 & 2.
I lumped these 2 together just cause. Seeing guys get KO'd, choked out, and busted open in a bloody mess is always good wholesome family entertainment.
5. Black Hawk Down
I love military movies, and this one is no exception. A few things have been changed from the book (which I highly suggest people read), but overall its a great film.
For anyone wondering why Lord of the Rings isn't listed in here, its because I didn't buy it or watch it this week. I'm not going to buy it on DVD until Nov, when I can get the 4 disc special edition.
