    Steam certainly is wacky... i dunno how to fix yours (i get it too), but seeing as its allong the same lines, anyone tell me why this happened <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Did you reinstall NS or just Steam? I have that file exactly where the error specifies and it's about 2 mb big. Maybe it got lost somehow.

    Maybe you shouldn't be installing Steam into the sierra directory...

    if you have any kind of bots systems, they will show up as a "natural selection" game. to find the right one, you can right click them and do the "create a desktop shortcut" thing... then look at the icons properties and look at the target line. if it has something about "rcbotns" (or whatever bot prog you use) then that's the wrong one. just do that until you find the normal one. it should look something like ""C:\Program Files\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 70 -game ns" ... at least that's what MINE looks like.

    hopefully that helps <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    oh yeah, don't install steam over anything... install it into the default category.
