    say i bought the FULL HL2 package, i.e deluxe edition, if i just want to play single play for the moment, do i need to download and install steam and verify my cd key? =/ if so, is there some way to NOT download ANYTHING???

    So long as you aren't playing multiplayer, you should be able to play SP HL2 without needing to connect to the 'net.

    And though I'm not going to say that I have complete confidence, I'm hoping like heck that it does come out on-time. If it does, I'm going to buy an R9800 Pro and sell off my R9500 Pro. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> If not, I'll wait for the rumored Nov 15th price drops on video cards.
