Basically, it's like that old asteroids game, only a lot harder, and against real people, online. I know this is an OLD game, and i mean, somewhere around '96 it was made i think, but it's still played and has a large community, which shows just how addictive it is. I played a lot about a year, year 1/2 ago, but i stopped. I re-downloaded it yesterday, and man, it's fun. I get bored a lot, and this is one of those things that just fits in between other things. It's class

I play on Extreme Games and Hockey Zone, and my name is RoboticNinja (for those of you who don't know, type ?find RoboticNinja in game, and it says where i am). I'd be happy to give anyone a run down on the basics.

I did actually search for this, which is surprising because i don't normally. It's a fun game, but very, very addictive and very frustrating for the first few days (you'll be surrounded by people who can kill you without even needing to see you).

Continuum is actually a remake of a game which Virgin Interactive put out called Subspace. Virgin ended up dropping it after a while, as well as all servers so for a long time it was all player run. My brother along with a few other people helped create a zone which I still believe is alive today called 17th Parallel, although now its a piece of crap, the original was a vietnam themed zone with actual balanced play. The makers of Subspace went on to form Harmless Games, the studio behind Infantry, until it was bought out by sony, and made into a piece of crap (you used to be able to see lancasters in the maps on infantry, I don't know if they're still around.) And as far as I know the makers had nothing to do with Continuum. Either way its a fun game for a while, but I got burned out on being killed by laggers and whiney 10 year olds who think their "elite".

I actually also made a race zone which the track was stolen several times, every once in a while when I reinstall continuum I'll see it pop up again.
