<div class="IPBDescription">Coming out September 30th</div>In case you haven't already heard, today Halo PC went gold and its set to come out on... DUM DUM DUM... September 30th.

So even when HL2 is delayed it looks like I'll be making a trip to the game store afterall.. Maybe...

I'm kinda undecided as to whether or not I'll get it. If I were to get it, it'd be solely for the multiplayer, as I've already beaten SP on the X-Box. They say multiplayer Halo is supposed to be a blast, and it certainly looked fun...

I just dunno...

    Halo Multiplayer looks awesome, rocket wrathogs, banshees, flame throwers, new maps, being able to chat to your team, unlike the Xbox owners who have to use gamespy xbox tunnel. So HL2 is delayed then ?

    That's a bit stupid of them to give the same release date as Hl2. Unless people would pick it up since it's near HL2 in a store. Hmm.

    Hmm. I think the PC I originally built for Halo may not be up to scratch.

    Yeah RvB team should use Halo PC for a new series or something. So many more possibilities. Anyway, since it doesn't seem like HL2 is coming out by the end of Sept., I'll just be gettin Halo. I've been waiting throughout the summer for it.

    Bungie originally unveiled Halo at the Mac Expo as a simultaneous PC and Mac release.

    Shortly after that, Microsoft bought Bungie and Halo became one of the first XBox exclusive titles.

    I just hope the level design and mapping textures are PC quality unlike those super simplifed console game pad developed worlds.

    A good example of a bad map in HALO? The Library, endless boring, enemies in the same area. I felt like I was playing the same map for 9 levels or however many it was.

    Or that near the end mission when you are on that crashed ship, ahh Crapy same endless yellow wall texture all over, very undetailed and very bland.

    Another example is the small details, take Splinter Cell. I was in that early mission were I was in the living room of a small apartment. You could see the weather channel on the TV with little temperatures scrolling by at the bottom of the screeen. My Console Loving Buddy walks in and is like WOW crap howed you turn on the TV?!! I told him it was like its on by default.

    As the game wenton he pointed out lots of other small details that they omited in the XBox version of it.

    i dont know if im gonna get this. i alreayd have the xbox one. id rather buy halo2 when it comes out (someday).

    And yes, the puma is a great vehicle.

    i love when sam has to aim his Five-seveN for like, 20 times longer than any normal human in order to hit someone in the head at point blank range.

    I brought my XBOX for Halo. (Yes I still have my Gamecube) and there was an arguement about the same style level design. In some ways that is how you would expect a Spaceship to be designed. When you design a structure you don't want to make every corridoor different do you? Thats just bad practice.

    But I don't really care because A.) Halo PC will run like poop on my machine and B.) I already know whats happening so whats the point? and C.) I never cared for Graphics anyway

    Well, unless you really want to find out what Snake was doing a Big Shell while you were running around as Raiden, or you like alternate style missions, or you LIKE the VR stuff then, no probably not.

    I'm ignoring all HL2 rumours.

    If my copy of HL2 arrives on the 30th, i'll know I was right.

    If it doesn't, i'll have to kill Sam for being right.

    ARGH!!!!11223 You nub doom, Valve has been working on HL2 for 5 years. They announced it when it was in beta, it won't be delayed. Stop whining.

    Butyeah, I'm definitely getting Halo, even though I'll have to run it at 640x480 and such and such.

    Anyway, when I visit the game store I'm getting Savage, HL2 (if its out by then), and Halo PC (I haven't even played Halo on Xbox but I hear good things).
