Should I Update The Server?

<div class="IPBDescription">Erm, still running on 2.0</div> Well, I'm seeing alot of other servers move to this "BETA" code. The reason I DONT want to update is the fact that it is again a BETA code, and not fully supported. To me 2.01x represents unbalancing what I see is fine as it is. I'm just getting alot of complaints about it still being 2.0, but hey 2.0 is an official, full. finished release. Not a beta code that needs more testing. I dont really want my server being a test speciman for it either until the 2.1 releases.

    We felt the same. But it just got to the point were we couldn't be bothered playing ns anymore as it was so boring. You knew the outcome of the game before you even started. I even played some cs! Arghh.

    The patch makes for much more enjoyable games. If you can't wait any longer then update. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I would update; there have been to many balance changes to stick with 2.0.

    Note that upgrading to 2.01e requires simply update *two files* to newer versions -- nothing at all difficult, and if it screws up, just load the ones you backed up (you did backup before copying, right? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> )
