Just for any admins that want to take some preventative action.

    cd doesnt catch anything - best anti hack for ns: you. VAC randomly bans wonids for no apparent reeason (yay for steam) if someone really wanted to hack, they could get a hack thats not detectable by ANY cheat program.

    but hey lets use the OSS anti hack with bullet percentage ^_^

    You're right, it's not designed to catch hacks, it's designed to prevent them before they can even take effect...

    Obviously, you haven't played in many public servers.

    There are a LOT of cheats that can get through C-D.

    I feel sorry for you if you think C-D does its job.

    I play in CD-required pubs all the time, and I have never seen evidence of a working hack. What are you seeing? Aimbots? Speedhacks? Wallhacks? More details please, otherwise you'll be dismissed as another naysayer.

    I've seen aimbotters, speedhackers, and wallhackers, playing on servers that have C-D.

    Maybe the server that you are playing on always have admins present?

    You say CD dosent work..
    well if they Have [NO C-D] or [OLD C-D] in their name, of course CD wont work, but thats to be expected..
    Now, I just went on a site with various different hacks (no, I don't use them, but I wanted to see if there were any NS ones and I found this site) I came up with 7 different CD proof hacks, for CS, they will possibly work for NS, but all of them were simply graphic changes, such as "All white walls", "Different Crosshairs" and "Sniper black remover", found one that was "Soundhack", whatever that does. .then I found scripts in there.. then I found one that said it was cd 4440 proof that said "ESP" Dunno what that is, but thats the only one that may have been preventable
    Then I went to VAC-Proof hacks and found 13 different types of aimbots, wallhacks, and various others.. nothing that could be cd proof..

    Now your still gonna say that CD dosent work? Well.. if the user dosent run it it dosent work..
    Then I go to the natural selection group.. I see 2 hack, and one modded off another hack, then 2 text files with different glitches in there.. including a script to automate flashlight exploiting..If/When VAC is ever added to NS, the hack section will probably grow..

    Now looking at just the number of hacks, it appears that CD is working better then VAC.. becuase all the not detected CD hacks will be prevented if mp_consistency 1 is set..
    But if the user has old/no cd.. they could be hacking..

    Yes, but are these C-D required servers, or C-D optional servers where the suspect players were not running the current C-D client?...
