<div class="IPBDescription">Furgot10, and Black-Plauge</div> Beware of this person going under this alias. Furgot10, and Black-Plauge. Today he has officially screwed our clan over, not just once, but twice. First time was for earning basic admin on my server, but then realized after all the complaints I got, he was an EXTREME heavy abuser. So, I kicked him from the clan, removed his admin, and banned him from the server. He was also our web master for the clan, so naturally he deletes our website. After 2 months later, he shows up and apologizes for being a fool, so he decided he would make another nice website for us. However, he then played on my server again (I unbanned him) so he went hiding in a vent after all the marines were dead for about 7min. I bury him as he begins running to another hiding spot, and he dies from a skulk. Right after that he say and I quote

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->-=Black-Plauge=-: **** you rage you stupid homosexual ****
-=Black-Plauge=-: I'm removing your website again, peace
-=Black-Plauge=- has Disconnected<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

He goes back and deletes our new website, and then changes our passwords to the FTP, and the control panel for it. He then IM's me on AIM about the subject.

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->ScOrPiO546442000: if u want ur **** password back to normal **** apologize u **** immature ****
rage35121: no, im shutting it off and reporting you
ScOrPiO546442000: WOW
ScOrPiO546442000: good for u
ScOrPiO546442000: got proof?
ScOrPiO546442000: NOPE<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

He says I'm immature, and he wants me to apologize for burying him and getting him killed to end the round.

So now I'm currently waiting for my web hosting company to change all the passwords so I can access my FTP and Control panel for my website again so I can access it.

Just had to vent my anger on this matter.

    He won't last long on my server if I see him.

    I feel for you man.

    Look, people don't change man. Whatever made him screw up the first time isn't going to go away for the next time you see him.

    And if you have proper hosting, give him a like a temp account to upload the website, with no privileges EXCEPT "upload". the first time i can understand [but not admin powers, sheesh!] but the SECOND time?!?! what were you on?!

    dont just leave it at that. he could change his name in about half a second [depends how fast he types]. get his wonid, his ip, his email, his name, his address, his phone number, his school, and log all that info, so it doesnt happen again. or you could do something with that info, otherwise the immature retard will never learn.

    Glad you're venting your anger, its good to get it out of your system. Unfortunately, there will always be people like that who abuse their anonymous status on the internet, and there isn't much we can do to fight them.

    grimm - not legally, anyway <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> actually, legally you CAN make their internet life a fair bit harder

    edit: i.e getting banned from irc for abuse, contacting his ISP about anything and everything he may be doing wrong, getting him banned from every/all server you have/know, contacting his site hosting about anything he's doing wrong, etc.

    and illegally.... well. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Tried to trick him into giving back my passwords to my website... Didnt work, isnt this illegal? I pay for this webspace and he is keeping me from accessing it. Well, I'm out of ideas how to get my passwords changed and my hosting company has no idea what I'm talking about. Ergh, this is just sickening to me knowing there isnt much I can do right now. I'm burning money in that website and webspace for nothing.....

    Get a new Webhost.
    Then maybe complain to the admins again or something? And yes I think it IS illegal if you are paying for a service and not being provided it without good reason.

    Sounds illegal to me, try finding out his ip I guess, I'm not sure. I'm sure if you knew who the guy was you could get the poilce involved and get a refund and/or your password back, but other than that I wouldn't know what to do. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Cancel your hosting. The account will shut down and then you can sign up for a new one. (I'll recommend <a href='http://www.host-unlimited.com' target='_blank'>http://www.host-unlimited.com</a> but I haven't tried it. Dirt cheap, though.)

    getting the ip is simple... from there u get sum nerdy uber hax0r to break his comp... but not b4 u blackmail him into giving the passwords back, its not as illegal as u'd think

    I don't think that will fly. Since you have given him the ability to change the passwords and keep you out of the website, you can't do anything about it, and it's not illegal.

    That happend to me once....I got his IP and contacted his ISP and he never bothered me again....Wewt.

    These people are the same that have to talk smack behind your back, which REALLY makes me mad. They think they are soooo hot over the internet. My guess is, if he goes to high school, he is given swirlys between periods. Everyday. If not, well... someone needs to fix that.

    BAH!!! I have to bring this topic back from the dead, as I still cannot get anything out of this guy, and my hosting company refuses to give me the password thinking I'm another deadbeat like this guy....... whoah is me.....

    Huh? I pay for it, tell me how its legal for him to steal it and use it at his own discretion disreguarding me asking him not to.

    Two things. If you pay for it, they have your ID on-record. There is a way to verify yourself, if no other than calling them up on the phone and reading off your credit card number, DoB, full name, and so on. Then you demand that the passwords be changed, as they were trusted to someone who turned out to abuse that.

    If they still refuse to change them, inform them that their next payment will not be arriving, or will be cancelled by your credit card if they continue to attempt to bill it, as well as investigate them for credit card fraud, if you are the one paying for the account but cannot access it due to the changed password to cancel it. Pulling that stuff is a criminal offense. Should get their attention.

    Just like stores that won't take your broken stuff back because the seal on your package is broken. How am I supposed to find out that it doesn't work if I can't open the package first? I find that raising your voice just that little bit extra so other customers in the store can follow what's happening works wonders.
    You got elbows, now learn to use 'em. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
