<div class="IPBDescription">the truth bout steam</div> ok, heers a question for yall that im goin to answer <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->. y is steam slow and bugy, y do i start its cs downlaod, go to sleep, and when i wake up it says only 3827 h and 32 secs to go?? its te servers valve put up for steam, steam worked good in beta cause the servers wernt strained. but with al the new ppls comen its only a mater of time before valve haf to close steam (again!! they had 2 close it when the beta was first released in feb to) so i dont think steam el get any better, probbly worse cause te servers wil overload

Reason:

The servers have never had over 400,000 people accessing them all at once. And they have 4 servers. And yes, they are all doing that. Or, at least near that number.

Steam is using unfinished code at the moment, because the installation file is missing A LOT of code that the betas had, that disappeared the night before, oddly, without letting them know(inside source)

you said its hard to update because so many people are updating, well maybe if they used there big ugly geeky brains and just had the normal way of updating a game, we wouldent have that problem bceause more then 100 sites would be hosting the update, and right now there is only about 3 steam servers and it only downlaods from 1 of them.

so like ive said above steam is **** and will always be ****, its pointless and does nothing to help the online gaming community.
