    *Javert backs up entire hard drive and makes another backup of HL. Then re-installs Windows and defrags. THEN attempts Steam install.

    im not gonna make a new thread about this question so ill just ask it here.

    when steam is downloading, where does it download too ? last night it done 80mb of downloads with steam ( i found this uot with netlimiter program) and then i exited steam and shutdown my pc because my volcano9 was driving me crazy, so when i woke up i went to check if it had downloaded any model or anything into the folders and NOTHING was there.

    so where does it downloaded these so called *UPDATES*
