    The “main room” of the marine start, the aliens will have to fight their way past this room to get to the resourcer and the command center, the entrance to this room is to the right of the view. Instead of having a vent entrance the aliens can climb into the room on top of those pipes

    looking great , great arcitecture , might want to add some different lighing , now its alot of greenish lighting , maybe some yellow or orange..

    The only thing I don't like is the whole monotone green thing, you need some red or yellow lighting in there.

    I don't like the blue/green lighting.  You really shouldn't have the same texture on the floor an ceiling.  The architecture is astounding as always, but looks rather impractical.

    Architecture and texturing is great, but like the others have said, the lighting leaves something to be desired.  It's either too green or too blue (probably too green).  If you don't want to have another Shaft-lit marine start area, you might want to try a different color alltogether.

    looks awesome ekaj, however i got 1 peice of critism.  In the first pic, the walkways aren;t connected from the straight one to the offset right one.  I think you should connect them both.

    Without a doubt, you are probably the most creative mapper I have ever seen, with some incredible brushwork.

    Throw in those lights here, and it'll be exactly the same.

    Ekaj, it looks great (minus the evil neon lighting), but as I look at this, if I picture it with the light color from Shaft, it looks like it belongs there, not in another map. :-\

    I have to totally agree with KFS here.

    Also ChromeAngels point of the architecture being ‘impractical’ is something to consider, that was one of my main concerns with Shaft.  Sure it looks great but does it work, is it functional for gameplay, easy to navigate etc

    architecture is good as always, as said lighting needs a bit of work

    you will probably need to change more than just lighting colours to get away from looking like ns_shaft (if thats what you were trying to do to distinguish them.)

    Indeed, what all the others said.  You could probably pass this off as the map shaft itself.  What I think really stands out to me as it being a shaft 'look alike' is the classic gold pipes on the ceilings.  I am always use to seeing those types of pipes in shaft.  Other various things, like textures and lighting also make your map look just like shaft.  Not like having it resmeble shaft is bad, but players could, and probably would, easily confuse the two maps.  Like others, I think a whole new set of lights could be helpfull, I also suggest new pipes, or maybe something to take the place of the pipes.

    the work is great, architecture is great and lighning is great.
    ABOUT lights...could be a bit boring,i think like this is ok,just now stop to lighten areas like this and change colours.
    THE SAD NOTE: like Kfs,Manah and other wrote,this map is really near to Shaft...u can merge this with shaft,or make just this area with this lightning/brushwork/texturing.
    Shaft is amazing,i have in my shots collection practically all ur shaft shots seen in the forums or in the site,but i don't remember very lived areas, i mean rooms infested and half-destroyed like 4eg in SSNothing.
    About the gameplay...i dunno everything,this is to discuss after a playtest.i think that shaft is playtesting...so keep in great consideration the feedback. would be a bit sad that shaft destiny will be "the pearl map of NS but just 4 beautyness"...seems that all the mods have a map just for beauty...CHANGE THIS FATE, i believe in you Ekaj!
