Pre-bound Keys?

OK...i always customize my controls...to the way im used to playin HL games...but now that some keys are prebound...it stops me from being able to use those. Is there a way to bind like...drop ammo, recycle, and other things to certain keys...instead of using the default?

I think this is the wrong forum to ask this in but...
cl_cmhotkeys "qwerasdfzxcv"
is the variable which is for the hotkeys for the commander.
