Question About Umbra/spores

Hey,

i tried to change the umbra color to red but it only changes the explosion clouds and not the ball you shoot <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->
Same with spores.

So my question is, how do i change them both <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    There's two sprites each relating to Spore and Umbra.

    <span style='color:green'>spore.spr</span> and <span style='color:gray'>spore2.spr</span>
    <span style='color:orange'>umbra.spr</span> and <span style='color:gray'>umbra2.spr</span>

    The unnumbered one are for the smaller clouds, and the 2s are for the cloud you shoot out.

    On a completely unrelated note, you play on an amazingly high resolution. Is it 1600?

    Sorry for the bad quality pic but i had to compress it for the forum <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    And yes i play on 1600x1200 <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    edit:

    hmm seems that the second sprite is greyscale and not orange <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    The two 'grayscale' ones use indexed alpha.

    Extract their BMPs, and use a program capable of displaying palettes to open them. Open the palette, and edit the last colour to whatever colour you want (before editting, the last color should be green or orange, depending on whether it's the BMP for spore or umbra)

    Here they are if anyone wants em.
    Just put them in your ns/sprites folder.
