<div class="IPBDescription">Problems...</div> I'm getting this error everytime I try to start Call of Duty, ever since I updated my Radeon 9800 Pro's catalyst drivers to the current one released yesterday.

Something with OpenGL, what could be the problem? Reinstall? Ideas?

    Roll back your drivers? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I only want to do that as a last resort....

    Have you made any changes with the registry recently? Reading the log, it seems your in the wrong mode (3), something the registry for your graphics card affects.

    You may also want to change your card settings (if possible) to their lowest, meaning no effects and low res and try that out.

    Pixelformat failure....sounds like a Direct X 9 problem. Do you have the latest Direct X (it's 9.0a now)?

    Yup, I have all the latest builds for everything, when I updated my catalyst drivers is when things went wanky.

    Did you update to those new Cat 3.7 drivers to fix another issue? ATI specifically said to NOT update to these new drivers except to fix one of the listed issues. Rolling back as others have already said would be a good idea if this is the case.

    Well, I'm having trouble with the Call of Duty demo too.

    It keeps putting lines in all over the screen, and the performance goes WAAAAAY down during it. To like 1fps. I don't even get that bad on America's Army. <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Really?! I update very frequently just because.... I didnt think it would cause issues, just fix the ones that I didnt know I had. Great, now when I try to roll back, no backup was found of it.....

    In that case you should download the 3.6, uninstall 3.7, and reinstall 3.6. And depending on OS, you should explore creating a system restore checkpoint before installing such critical drivers in the future.
