Ns Wont Work...

<div class="IPBDescription">Mad</div> Hey I have a question i'm trying to play NS but it says something like My cl_dll/client.dll differs from the server...but every server i go to it says this so i dont know what to do ive tried everything so if someone could help me then please respond or email me at TheAdaMiz0r@hotmail.com...     Moving this to Tech Support forum, where it should be....

    To answer your question, try to reinstall NS first, as that will most likely fix it. Also make sure you got a valid download of NS 2.0

    I caught AdaMiz0r on irc and assisted him. Looked like he had both hl retail and cs retail installed in the sierra directory, but was loading the engine without ns installed, whereas it got installed in the other engine by default.
    Copied his ns folder from half-life directory to counter-strike directory and he's on his way.

    [Edit] Apparently it didn't work out, but from what he's told me, possibly a messed up install of whichever retail version.

    Yeesh. Yes, he should just uninstall all of the above and reinstall HL retail only, then patch and mod it. All will be ok.

    I never understand why people run HL retail and counterstrike retail at the same time...

    And this also seems to be like the only way to buy it in the UK (from what people have told me)
