<div class="IPBDescription">not flame, just a warning</div> I saw a review of a server on readyroom.org, on <i>Tactical Gamer –NS v2.01d Server #2</i>.
Review said it was friendly admins, helpfull, almost no trash-talking, sounded like a great server. So I decided to stop by, always on the lookout for good servers.
What I saw was no where near what the readyroom said it was. About 8 [tr] clanners there, a few of whom are admins from what it sounded like., and 1 [TG] admin. The [tr] clan clan-stacked aliens one round, and marines the next. [tr]Sniper, if he is admin or not I don't know, was quick to complain if someone broke what he thought were the rules (yet I could find no mention of his "rules" anywhere on the server). So I thought, ok, cool, and admin. Better than not having one here. I was wrong. As 3 onos (one myself) took out a small outpost they had in one of our hives, one guy started munching on the PG while standing on it. He got red hot, and threatened to ban whoever did it, saying it was "illegal". We got done with the outpost and decided to move to the double res node where they had set up base. we make short work of it, when [tr]sniper baracades the comm chair with CCwalls. When I asked if CCwalls were allowed, half the [tr] clan said no, except sniper himself who said yes they were. then the rest of them said yes, they were allowed. He sat in the comm chair untill 3 onos and a gorge took down ALL the CCs, while he made little smily faces on chat.
The next round, When I tried to join aliens, I saw that they alreasy had 5 [tr] guy all on aleins, and 3 more stacking. I left.
Please note this is not a flame aimed at this server or the [tr] clan, it's just a warning so you don't have to go through the lame cycle the rest of the people on this server went through.
PS. Yes I just registered, but I've lurked for awhile. dunno why I never posted till now, guess I finally had something to say
