Maps On Linux Server.

<div class="IPBDescription">please help me</div> hi, my name is Alfredo and i having a problem while creating a dedicated server in linux.
It always starts with an Half Life map... than i exec changelevel ns_bast for exemp... finishing the current map, mapcycle of HL came back again...

    Okay..
    So after you change levels, the original half life map cycle comes back?

    Could you post more information.

    sounds to me like your not starting the server up properly, try this:

    ./hlds_run -game ns +map ns_caged +maxplayers 14

    this will start:
    a 14 player NS server on ns_caged.

    the '-game ns' is the most important part, '+map ns_caged' makes it load up that map and '+maxplayers 14' tells the server to allow 14 players to connect <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    hope this helps, if not tell us how you are starting your server, and your ns/mapcycle.txt file.
