It easily reminds me why I fell in love with their old stuff such as Orestes. I am SO going out and buying their new albumn the first day it's out.

Just the whole.. essence of a, A Perfect Circle song is so well put together that mere words can't describe it.

    While I was in Ireland I heard they were going to be playing at my University when I got back, but the damn show was sold out by the time I got back. Maynard has one of my favorite voices of all time.

    Tool > APC anyday and I couldt belive my fargen eyes when I saw their logo (which was a circle that didnt quite fit together right) and thought to myself "Ohh how great <b>aperfect</b> circle" what a great name to a logo of a non perfect circle, when I realized it was A Perfect Circle I totaly gave up. He doesnt even sound half as passionate as he did in his worst Tool songs.

    Oh, got to hear that song, and I'll get the album. I liked the first APC-album quite much.

    But, I must admit Tool's Ænima is the best so far. I -hope- this new release lives up to it.

    YAY! It's sing along time with A Perfect Circle!

    Greypaws, lighten the hell up.... "OH GEE! THEIR BAND NAME IS NIRVANA, BUT IT DOES NOT ACTUALLY CONTAIN NIRVANA! RIPPED OFF!" Many articles state that 'A Perfect Circle' was simply a circle of friends. It has nothing to do with a logo.

    OMG THEIR NAME IS TOOL! I DEMAND MY SPANNER LOGO! >_<

    Just enjoy each band seperately. Maynard works for both, some people enjoy one, some people enjoy the other. But simply going Tool > APC without stating any reasons does not make for good discussion. Hell, they sound fairly alike. Lighten up a little....

    Yes because Tool are gods. We should all worship Tool, until they inevitably make an albumn we don't like. Of course we all know their old stuff is the best, so now they're selling out cause Maynard is working on 2 bands at once. OMG THEIR LOGO ISN'T EVEN A PROPER PERFECT CIRCLE.     I get a lot of guff for this but, A Perfect Cirlce > Tool. The music of APC is so much more musically poetic and the words as well. I knew they were working on a new album I just didn't know when it was gonna exist, thanks, I shall be sure to acquire it.

    The song (and the video) was pretty good.

    On comparing Tool to A Perfect Circle: It's quite natural to do this. Maynard is the front figure of both, and they share other members too. So it's not like comparing apples to oranges. More like comparing oranges to .. lemons. Or lime. You get the picture.

    i heard their other album on mp3 back in university, its really somthing worth listening to, just good solid tunes really, it'll always remind me of those many mis-spent days...

    Newsflash : just because it's soft, doesnt mean it's MTV and commercial. No one is selling anything.

    Maynard isnt TOOL. Maynard doesnt just go back to TOOL and make a record. The other band members also work on separate projects ( bands and art).

    Actually I did have a point for saying TOOL > APC Maynard is WAY less <b>passionate</b> in APC, to me he seems stifled and contained, he doesn’t have the flow of tool to release all that he feels. And I will always complain when a person who is capable of achieving so much achieves so little, perfect example is the Fragile album by NIN, Trent just couldn’t fully capture emotion without Floods help.. I loved NIN but that will never stop me from ragging on Fragile.
