Personally, I do feel that NS is having problems, people ARE getting bored.
It's very hard to get a decent game in 2.0, and as much as I love NS, I'm thinking of quitting.
A lot of people feel the same way as me, 2.0 just doesn't feel the same as 1.04, and there's definately not the teamwork feeling or general friendlyness that you used to get in 1.04.
Thoughts?

too much was changed.
and now ns playing figures are right down, things seem to be going downhill...
Tbh there was TOO MUCH hype surrounding 2.0, and it didn't deliver for me.
Reasons for quitting ns:
1; 99% of you absolutely suck at this game
2; 99.5% of you have absolutely no clue how to play this game
3; 99% of you have common sense on par with a lump of wood
4; NS is going nowhere fast. with HL2 just around the corner, i cant see NS competing in the same league as HL2 mods
5; Community is too small, finding matches becomes a chore compared to games like q3 and cs. yes i know theyre older games but having easily available matches makes the game a lot more fun
6; NS = low skill mod . for those of you that dont understand, take a look at quake3 , it requires a lot more skill and tactics (some would argue about the tactical side, but go take a look at a high level TDM game first)
7; the balance crap isnt an issue, its the same for everyone isnt it ?? but the amount of PEOPLE THAT DONT STOP WHINING , YOU DO MY HEAD IN
8; these forums are a joke, seriously mindless idiots who follow the crowd like sheep, and if one person steps out of line he's flamed or banned from the forums
9; ns is more repetetive than cs , seriously you can predict an ns public a lot easier than a cs public, same with matches. which means cs is a lot more of a spectator sport which makes it go further in the competition world.
10; i gave 2.0 a go, and its just lost the element of fun that 1.04 had, cant really put my finger on it, but its just ....... boring
anyway, thats my reasoning, should keep the dev's happy or something, either that or this will be locked/deleted (which would be silly now wouldnt it)

What, all the bandwagon mods with nothing but 12 unskinned weapon renders and ridiculously large teams with 8 programmers or 12 PR guys and no content whatsoever?
Don't expect anything decent from HL2 mod teams for at least 6-8 months. And by then I'd expect half of them will have died in some spectacular soap opera anyway.
if a small percentage of the current so called idiot players dropped by and learnt how to 'play properly' from reading these boards (like most of us did i imagine) the 'community' as a whole would be so much better. probably.
