Weapon Animations

i need help in finding a good Weapon animating tutorial... (for milkshape)
i mean, i got AT LEAST 15 models i made for both ns and cs,
which i cant animate... cuz i dunno how...
Please, im sure u didnt learn to weapon animate from scratch !
Please tell me where did u learn weapon modeling from or gimem some advices...

    milkshape isnt that hard once you learn it. I too basically learned it myself after playing around. But i can tell you some things, if you have the skeleton all assigned, then thats one bullet thats done. Then, ya go into animation mode in milkshape (anim button at the bottom right hand corner) and the slider is for the frames. It's alot like stop motion animation, however you can spread them apart, and it will flow from the first to the next frame. So on one frame you move it as you wish by selecting the joints, rotating and moving to where you want, and then you set keyframe in the animate menu (operate on selected joints only shouldnt be checked). Then you just repeat every so frame, and you have an animation!

    The same principles apply to weapon models.

    i've never read any tutorial either cuz animating with milk is uber simple

    ctrl+shift+k = del keyframe
    ctrl+k = assign keyframe
    (verry useful shortcuts)
