    Three things. Firstly, is it set to start on in the flags, if not, it won't start until triggered. Secondly, try dropping the volume to 200, i had a lot of problems before with the volume at 255, no idea why, but dropping the volume made it work. And finally, you might want to copy your sounds into sound/ns_yourmap to comply to the mapping guidelines as opposed to mixing your files in with the stock NS files.

    Hope any of that helps. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Fourthly, make sure the path you enter starts with sound/ (eg: sound/ambience/sound.mp3). Unlike the ambient_generic entity, a target_mp3 does not automatically treat the sound folder as the root.

    Fifthly, make sure the target_mp3 is not 'buried' in a solid wall. I can't seem to get it working when that is the case.

    The target_mp3 is a finicky little bugger, thats for sure...
