Turret Farm Strategy.

Now, ill apologize if there already is one similar or some other way samelike topic here.
The Curse of the Public games as i'v seen it. There seems to alot of people around playing NS and thinking that turret farming every hive/res node is a good idea. Since of 2.0 and of the beta's which have been shared to all of us. I have seen so many Comm's that instead of upgrading ha/jp or even yet weapons/armor make horders of turret farms around the map. They obviously think that its a good thing, and will guarantee a victory.
Now this issue has few subsides as i'v seen it, sometimes they have succeeded to take control of two hives. And sometimes they have got only 1 hive, sometimes none. But they all have 1 thing incommon. The Commanders seem to miss the fital point of what it does need to win the round. It sure as h*ll dont include fortifying a res node and at the same time wasting precious resources to one spot instead of making few upgrades wich could ensure a fast victory. Several times i have seen this happen and even more common it has been the flaw on the marine team which determined who would win the round. And let me just say that the sun doesnt shine towards the marines that much..
I, in my case have outbursted several times towards this kind of Commanders, and i seem to do it still. I have a shot temper, expecially towards this kind things which i just cant understand. So if someone has seen me yelling to a commander, now you know why.
Any opinions or their own experience with these kind of things is more than welcome to be readed.

try looking for turret farm topics using the search engine, you should find a few threads.
Me, I like turretfarms. I think building defenses is my number one enjoyment as com. Maybe because the games where he didnt command the comm would build too many turrets, and refused to listen to him?
I agree, focusing too much on defences can be fatal

And why should the com listen to him? According to himself he has a short temper and tend to "outburst" against com's. I would just ignore, mute or kick him.
Sure, there are bad coms. Sure, there are probably people who will spend 30 minutes farming up everything then losing with lvl0 Marines against 3-hive cows. It's not like those kinds of coms are likely to listen to someones outbursts.
I write typo's, i act like i do. I have no reason to defend what kind of personality i have. If you have problem with that, well.. too bad.
