I was wondering if there was a free IRC out there somewhere, can someone give me a website to one?

    all irc clients are free.... for example: <a href='http://www.mirc.com' target='_blank'>http://www.mirc.com</a> At least the old version is free <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->(which you can download there, 5.91 or something like that.

    Google for trillian, I tried it and it was pretty good and free, but I didn't like it because it had alot of features I really didn't need that got in the way.

    ive tryed mirc and its good and all but its only a 30 day trial, and would the old versions of it work??

    It isn't a 30 day trial.... Maybe after 30 days it pops up their webpage very randomly when you open it asking if you would like to donate.

    Was about to chime in about <a href='http://www.xchat.org' target='_blank'>XChat</a> myself, but it looks like Crystal beat me to it. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> No nag-screens, no donation-pages popping up out of nowhere, and no newbie-funk following you around when anyone CTCP VERSIONs you. As well as better plugin and scripting support, as well as TCL/Tk. Don't worry if you dunno what that means.. you can use it out-of-the-box just fine. TCL/Tk is mostly for those that want to play around with the widgets, and make it look (and even act) completely different.
