<div class="IPBDescription">just a little teaser</div> Well I've pretty much finished the actual marine (still working on finalizing the jetpack) so I thought I might throw out a quick shot to everyone. I'll probably be releasing once the 3rd person reload anims are given out.

    Why yes, yes he does. It's not like I just ripped it and jammed it into place. I've spent a lot of time reskinning and remodeling and creating a brand new jetpack from scratch to go with him.

    So no, there is no flipping way that this is a shameless chop. Just converting such a high-poly model to one that Half-Life is capable of running at a stable clip is hard enough. Texturing it is another story. Just respect his hard work and quit complaining.

    Nem felt kinda uneasy about it when I first previewed the model, hopefully since this doesn't hurt id in any way it will be allowed to slide. I can't imagine anyone saying to themselves, "Sweet now that I have this model for a halflife mod I won't have to buy Doom 3!" In fact with me screaming "BUY DOOM 3 AS SOON AS IT COMES OUT! IT ROCKS BOTH THE HOUSE <i>AND</i> THE HIZZY!" in every thread it might make people more likely to buy it.

    I joined this forum exclusively for this. I HAD to comment on this. It been bugging the f'ck out of me for a looong long time.
    Copyrights? Get over them. ID doesnt care. They're too busy sleeping with gorgeous women on piles and piles of money to care what we nerds do. This wont impede D3s release even in the slightest. Why are you so concerned? Its promotional if nothing else. We did it with AVP and Fox didn't do anything about it. You know why? Because it REALLY DOESNT MATTER. We're not clamining it to be "our own creations we made up ourselves". Its not stealing, its porting. If you dont approve, or dont like the style...then why bother being angry? Dont use it...problem solved. No one is going to make you.

    Psycho-Kinetic Hyper-Geek: Thank you for your diligent work bringing us a model of excellent quality. Should you release this on any other site I will DL and use until my eyeballs dry out and corrode. Pay no mind to nay-sayers and finger-waggers. Regardless of what you do in life...they will always try to bring you down.
    Thanks again for the model, and I sincerely hope you will at the very least e-mail this to me when it done! ^_^

    It's not like he has Doom 3 and ripped it from doom 3, unless he works for ID


    It's obvious that it's useable ingame, loook at the model.

    NSboard = against Warez
    Doom3 marine ripped from doom3= Warez
    Doom3 still in dev = it have to be warez,no way you could have it from the retail version..like.. avp2 or other games that ARE aviable..


    how could you rip something from a game that not even is supposed to exist on your harddrive.. id was very **** about this leaked version,so take care
